Back in the day, pro vert skateboarder Cindy Whitehead wore her favorite helmet every day when skateboarding the pools at Marina Skatepark, we decided it was time for a reissue with the same paint job, but now the legacy lives on via the GN4LW x S1 Lifer Helmet which has all the protection you need, no matter where you skate.
Proceeds from this helmet collab help fund girls in skateboarding through Cindy’s, Girl is NOT a 4 Letter Word movement.
Catch GN4LW team rider and USA National Team Women’s Park Skateboarder, Minna Stess, wearing the new helmet up the upcoming Olympic trials!
Cindy was inducted into the Skateboarding hall of Fame in 2016. Her original helmet sits in the Hermosa Beach Historical Society Museum in Hermosa Beach.
“I like the helmet because it makes me feel safe and the colors are just WAO, I feel honored to ride a re-make from such an iconic and empowered woman like Cindy Whitehead”
